2. Overview
"Party Wall" is an offline party game for Android. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No data is sent to the developer, to third parties, or to external servers. The app does not contain any analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
3. Legal Basis
Insofar as personal data were to be processed, the legal basis would be Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (Consent) for microphone usage and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest) for the local storage of game settings. Since no personal data is actually collected, this information is provided as a precaution only.
4. Permissions
4.1 Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)
The microphone is used exclusively for the "Scream" game challenge. It only measures the ambient noise level in real time. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. The processing occurs entirely locally on the device and only during active gameplay. The microphone permission can be revoked at any time in the device's system settings. In that case, the affected game challenge is skipped.
4.2 Vibration (VIBRATE)
The vibration feature is used for haptic feedback during gameplay (e.g. when a challenge starts, on success, or on failure). No data is collected or stored in the process.
4.3 Accelerometer and Gravity Sensor
These sensors are used for the "Shake", "Flip", and glass box physics game challenges. The sensor data is processed exclusively locally in real time and is neither stored nor transmitted.
5. Local Data Storage
The app stores game settings (e.g. volume, language, difficulty level) and high scores exclusively locally on the device in the app's own storage area. This data does not contain any personal information and is not shared with third parties. The data is automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled. You can also manually delete it in your Android settings under Apps → Party Wall → Storage → Clear data.
6. No Data Transmission
The app does not require an internet connection and does not transmit any data to external servers. There is no communication with servers of the developer or any third parties.
7. No Third-Party Services
The app does not use any analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase), advertising services, social media plugins, or any other third-party SDKs that collect personal data.
8. Android Auto-Backup
Android may automatically back up app data to your Google account if you have enabled this in your device settings. This is a feature of the Android operating system and is managed by Google. You can disable this in your Android settings under “Backup”.
9. Data Security
All data is stored exclusively in the private app storage of the Android operating system and is not accessible to other apps. The app does not make any network connections, so no data is transmitted over the internet.
10. Data Retention
All locally stored data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or manually clear the app data via the Android settings.
11. Children
The app is not specifically directed at children under 16 years of age and does not collect any personal data. Since no data is collected, there is no particular risk in terms of child protection.
12. Your Rights
Since the app does not collect, process, or store any personal data, the typical data subject rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection) generally do not apply.
If you nevertheless have any questions or concerns regarding data protection, you may contact the controller at any time: jjs-stuff-dev@protonmail.com
13. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for Bavaria is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
14. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated as needed. The current version can always be found on this page.
